International Collective of Young Professional Musicians | Classical & Contemporary Repertoire |
Artistic Collaborations | Innovative Concert Settings
Musica Vivere String Orchestra is an international ensemble of young professional musicians under the artistic direction of Theodoros Kameris.
The ensemble operates on a project basis, with members holding positions in major European orchestras such as the Estonian National Opera Orchestra, Staatskapelle Weimar, Latvian National Opera Orchestra and Babelsberg Film Orchestra .
The musicians are students or graduates of renowned institutions including the Sibelius Academy, Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig, Liszt Ferenc Academy Budapest, Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, Latvian Academy of Music and Theatre and Pôle Supérieur Paris Boulogne-Billancourt.
The orchestra unites musicians from Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Germany, France, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Hungary, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Venezuela.

Artistic Vision and Cultural Exchange
Musica Vivere meets the challenges of string orchestra playing through an ensemble of musicians who have already worked closely together in various artistic and educational contexts. United by a commitment to high artistic standards and a strong spirit of collaboration, they bring with them diverse musical traditions, schools and cultural backgrounds. The orchestra thus becomes not only a place of shared music-making, but also a space for cultural exchange and lived diversity.
Repertoire and Artistic Profile
The ensemble presented its first concert program in Tallinn in February 2025. Its repertoire focuses on the core literature for string orchestra while regularly including contemporary works. Organized on a project-based model, Musica Vivere String Orchestra enables flexible artistic concepts and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Community Engagement
Alongside its concert activities, Musica Vivere is deeply committed to educational outreach, with a special emphasis on introducing young audiences to classical music through participatory formats such as school concerts, charity performances and related projects.

Conductor & Artistic Director
Theodoros Kameris
Theodoros is a Cypriot musician who began his path as an orchestral conductor in 2023 in Estonia. He gained his first professional experience as Assistant Conductor of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra in 2024 and in February 2025 he made his debut with Musica Vivere String Orchestra in Tallinn.
In the same year, he was selected as a semi-finalist of the 59th edition of the prestigious International Competition for Young Conductors in Besançon, where he worked with the Orchestre Victor Hugo and the Orchestre Dijon Bourgogne.
Theodoros has received important artistic impulses from conductors such as Anu Tali, Martin Sieghart, Tomáš Netopil, Michalis Economou and Olari Elts and has conducted ensembles including the Athens Philharmonia Orchestra, the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Erzgebirgische Philharmonie Aue, the Sinfonietta of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra and the Filarmonica Pitești.
His musical education began in choral conducting at the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in St. Petersburg, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in choral conducting at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. He is currently pursuing studies in orchestral conducting at the same institution in the class of Prof. Arvo Volmer. In summer 2025, he completed an additional Master’s degree in orchestral conducting at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.
An exchange year at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden, where he studied with Prof. Georg Christoph Sandmann, further enriched his artistic development.
