MTÜ Musica Vivere processes personal data primarily in order to fulfil its statutory tasks and obligations. Detailed information on the processing of personal data is provided in this Privacy Policy.

We process personal data mainly for the pursuit of non-profit purposes, for compliance with legal obligations, or for the performance of contracts (e.g. concert participation or membership), in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Where personal data are not processed on the basis of a legal obligation, a task carried out in the public interest, or a contractual relationship, we will obtain your consent.

We process personal data only to the extent necessary for the respective purpose. Where processing is based on consent, we will inform you, at the time the consent is obtained, which personal data are processed and for what purpose.

Personal data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act, other applicable data protection legislation, and the guidelines of the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

For participation in events organised by MTÜ Musica Vivere, we may process personal data such as name, email address, and telephone number in order to:

  • register participants and audience members,
  • provide event-related information,
  • and contact individuals in the event of changes or cancellations.

If we wish to use your personal data in the future to send information about further concerts or events (e.g. newsletters or announcements), we will obtain your prior consent.

Please note that photographs and video recordings may be made at public events organised by MTÜ Musica Vivere. Such recordings may be published on the association’s website, on social media, in printed materials, or in media coverage related to the events. Under Estonian law and the GDPR, there is no obligation to provide individual prior notice for recordings made at public events where such recording can reasonably be expected. Photo and video material may be stored for an extended or indefinite period for archival, documentation, and public relations purposes.

If you believe that there is no legal basis for the processing of your personal data, you have the right to request the restriction, termination, or deletion of such processing. Corresponding requests must be submitted in written or digitally signed form.

You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal data and to obtain access to the personal data we hold about you.

The right to erasure does not apply where personal data are processed on the basis of a legal obligation or for the performance of a contract, and where the purpose of processing continues to exist or statutory retention periods have not yet expired.

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, to seek legal remedies, and to bring an action before a court. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
